News: Wood was dominant across six innings versus the Phillies on Sunday afternoon, allowing just one run on three hits while racking up eight strikeouts en route to his seventh victory of the season. Impact: Wood was not at top form nine days ago in his final effort leading into the All-Star break, but clearly got the second half started off on a high note. The young lefty re-entered the Braves' rotation on June 25 and has since produced mostly strong results over five starts. During that span, Wood is 2-1 with a 2.87 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 7.8 K/9.
