News: Eaton says his finger is not broken, claiming it's just jammed, and while it's painful, he can play through it, CSN Chicago's Dan Hayes reports. Impact: It was reported earlier this week that Eaton's right middle finger has been broken since earlier this month, but he claims those reports are false. Either way, he is 8-for-14 since the All-Star break, with three walks and two stolen bases, so he's playing well, no matter what's ailing him.(RotoWire, )

News: Eaton has been playing with a broken middle finger on his right hand, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Impact: Eaton suffered the injury during his team's second-to-last series before the All-Star break, but he doesn't seem to be having any issues at the plate. In four games since the Midsummer Classic, he's 8-for-14 with three walks and two stolen bases. While it could become a bigger issue as he continues to play through the injury, Eaton can safely be deployed for the time being.(RotoWire, )

News: Eaton (wrist) is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Astros. Impact: A wrist injury kept Eaton from the team's final two games of the first half, but he'll return Friday to take on right-hander Scott Feldman. Although he missed some time with lower-body ailments and hit for very little power, Eaton posted a .340 OBP over the first three and a half months and his job as leadoff man for the White Sox likely isn't in any jeopardy.(RotoWire, )

News: Eaton is out of Sunday's lineup against the Indians, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Impact: Eaton, who is bothered by a sore left wrist and right ankle, will give way to Leury Garcia in center field. News: Eaton, who is dealing with a sore left wrist and right ankle, will likely be out until after the All-Star break, according to manager Robin Ventura, Daryl Van Schouwen of CSN Chicago reports. Impact: Eaton's absence from the lineup Saturday appeared to be a routine day off, but he may require another day of rest before the team hits the All-Star break. The injury shouldn't cause him to miss time after the break, unless the injuries turn out to be worse than just the soreness already reported.(RotoWire, )
