News: Harang gave up four runs on eight hits and two walks over 5.1 innings to get the loss Sunday against the Reds. He struck out five. Impact: Harang had a big mental mistake in the Reds' three-run fourth inning, failing to get over to first base on Jay Bruce's infield single, a mistake that cost him at least two of the three runs. His next start will come at home Saturday against the Marlins, with him getting an extra day of rest due to Monday's travel day.(RotoWire, )

News: Harang (10-7) nearly went the distance Tuesday, tossing 8.1 innings of nine-hit, three-run ball in a win over the Pirates. He did not issue a walk and fanned four. Impact: This was a nice showing for the 36-year-old, who hadn't recorded a W since July 10 against the Mets (seven starts prior). Harang's pitch count of 114 was one shy of his season high, which he probably would have eclipsed it had Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez not pulled him after three straight hits with one out in the ninth. Regardless, Harang has a 3.50 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and 119:59 K:BB in 26 starts this season, proving that he's still capable of being a dependable workhorse in the bottom end of a talented Braves rotation.(RotoWire, )

News: Harang (9-7) had five runs hung on him in just 4.1 innings Thursday against the Dodgers. He coughed up seven hits and three walks while striking out three. Impact: An ugly outing for Harang, but he's been overdue for some course correction. He'll look for better results Tuesday in Pittsburgh.(RotoWire, )
