News: Hudson lasted only one inning Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits while striking out two in a loss to the Dodgers. Impact: After giving up four runs in the first, Hudson started the second by giving up consecutive singles to Dee Gordon and Yasiel Puig before being pulled from the game. It was the shortest outing in Hudson's 16-year career. The veteran is 0-2 in September and has given up 14 runs in 12 innings over three starts for the month.(RotoWire, )

News: Hudson turned in six innings Sunday's loss to the Tigers, giving up three earned runs on eight hits and a walk while notching just one strikeout. Impact: Hudson managed a quality effort Sunday night, but the veteran righty was certainly not at his best during the first week of September. In two starts over the past seven days, the four-time All-Star allowed nine runs (eight earned) on 15 hits across 11 innings. Hudson will look to regain his top form next weekend versus the Dodgers.(RotoWire, )

News: Hudson was hit hard Monday, surrendering six runs (five earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out five in the loss to Colorado. Impact: Despite pitching poorly Monday, Hudson was actually in line for the win due to the Giants putting up seven runs on opposing starter Franklin Morales. However, the bullpen couldn't hold the lead in another classic Coors Field offensive showdown. Hudson deserves a pass for this outing after holding the Rockies to just one run over eight innings his last time out at home. He will return to AT&T Park for his next start against the Tigers this Sunday.(RotoWire, )
