Impact: Colon was tossed out of the game after he hit Jayson Werth with a pitch in the fourth inning. It was his second hit batsman of the game, both coming after a home run. The veteran Colon has been either really good or very hittable over the last few months, with little in between. He'll try to rebound in his only start next week at home against Miami.(RotoWire, )

News: Colon tossed seven solid innings, allowing two earned runs on seven hits and a walk while picking up a couple of strikeouts in Friday's win over the Reds. Impact: After surrendering six earned runs to the Phillies last time out, Colon bounced back nicely Friday night. Though it has certainly been an up-and-down campaign, the 41-year-old veteran's good performances have outweighed the bad here in 2014. That has been especially true in recent weeks, as Colon has now allowed two runs or less in 6 of his last 8 starts. He will be back on the hill Wednesday to take on the Rockies.(RotoWire, )
