News: Reddick returned to action on Tuesday night, going 0-2 against the Astros. Impact: Reddick did not start the game, but pinch hit in the eighth inning and remained in the game in right field. Reddick will be in the lineup against almost all righties and his exceptional defense in right field should keep him there even if he continues to struggle on offense. Since his 2012 breakout season with 32 home runs, Reddick has struggled at the plate (.226 in 2013 and .227 so far in 2014 with only 16 combined home runs) and with injuries.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick (knee) could be activated as early as Tuesday,'s Jane Lee reports. Impact: Manager Doug Melvin said that Reddick, who has tested his knee out while throwing in recent days, felt great when the two spoke Sunday. This is right in line with the last report we had on Reddick which stated he would continue his rehab assignment through the weekend. In 17 plate appearances at Triple-A, Reddick is slashing .438/.471/.625, and certainly appears ready to rejoin the big-league club.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick (knee) went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in his second rehab game with High-A Stockton on Wednesday. Impact: The 27-year-old went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI in his first rehab game with Stockton on Monday. Although the results weren't nearly as good Wednesday, the most important thing is that he again escaped without any sort of setback. Reddick lasted just four games after his return in late June before the knee issue forced him right back onto the shelf, so the A's will likely progress him along more slowly in his latest rehab assignment. He is also expected to wear a brace on the knee for the rest of the season.(RotoWire, )
