News: Uehara hurled a scoreless ninth to notch his 21st save of the season in Boston's 3-2 victory over the Rays on Sunday. After allowing a leadoff single to Yunel Escobar, Uehara shut the door on the Rays, striking out the next three batters. Impact: Uehara was dominant again Sunday and is one of the best relievers in the game despite not getting a ton of opportunities. Sunday was his first save since July 19 and just his fourth appearance since the All-Star break.(RotoWire, )

News: Uehara logged save number 19, tossing a scoreless ninth inning of a 5-4 win over Kansas City on Friday night. He allowed one hit, and struck out one. Impact: He has just 19 saves but that's not all his fault. The Red Sox have won just 44 games, and while he hasn't been as dominant as he was in 2013, his 1.61 ERA does indicate he has been pretty competent. The question is whether Boston will opt to deal him prior to the trading deadline since this season is likely a lost cause.(RotoWire, )
