News: Cervelli will enter the lineup for the eighth straight game Monday vs. the Rangers, Bryan Hoch of reports. Impact: Cervelli's eight consecutive starts have coincided with Mark Teixeira sitting out each of those games due to a back ailment. The absence of Teixeira has prompted manager Joe Girardi to use No. 1 catcher Brian McCann at first base, allowing Cervelli to find his way into the lineup. He's certainly made the most of the appointment with hits in each of those eight games, giving him legitimate short-term value in AL-only and two-catcher leagues.
