News: Dickerson is not in the lineup Sunday vs. the Tigers, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Impact: Dickerson will bow out of the lineup with lefty Drew Smyly starting for the Tigers. The 32-year-old Dickerson is off to a 10-for-23 start at the dish over his eight-game tenure with the Indians, and he should continue to see plenty of action in the larger portion of the platoon with Ryan Raburn in the outfield.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers. Impact: A hamstring issue slowed Dickerson just before the break, and manager Terry Francona likely just doesn't want to push things by playing him in both games of Saturday's twin bill. Ryan Raburn will draw the assignment in left field in Game 1, but Michael Bourn (hamstring) hasn't even started running yet, so Dickerson should continue to see regular playing time in the short term.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson (hamstring) will return to the lineup Friday, playing left field and batting ninth. Impact: This was expected after Dickerson had the All-Star break plus the two games prior to rest his hamstring injury. Until Michael Bourn is healthy, Dickerson could see a steady amount of at-bats, as he's slashing .471/.500/.529 in five games with the Indians.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson (hamstring) should be healthy enough to play Friday against the Tigers, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Impact: Dickerson had missed two straight games for the Indians prior to the All-Star break due to hamstring tightness, but it seems as if he won't be limited upon his return. He should continue to see reps in left field until Michael Bourn (hamstring) is healthy. Since Bourn currently doesn't have a rehab plan set in stone, Dickerson should see playing time for the foreseeable future, with Mike Aviles also in the mix for the outfield reps with the Tribe.(RotoWire, )

News: The Indians have acquired Dickerson from the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named or cash. Dickerson will start in left field and bat ninth Monday night as the Indians open a four-game series with the New York Yankees. Impact: The 32-year-old Dickerson has appeared in 314 major league games over six seasons with four different teams. He debuted with the Cincinnati Reds in 2008. The Indians needed some depth in the outfield with Michael Bourn expected to miss at least three weeks with a strained left hamstring. Dickerson signed with Pittsburgh in January. He has spent the season with Triple-A Indianapolis, batting .309 with seven homers and 30 RBIs in 65 games.(STATS, 5:10pm)
