News: Happ turned in seven strong innings Friday night versus the Astros, giving up just one run on three hits and two walks while recording six strikeouts. Impact: Happ has pitched quite well for the Blue Jays since the All-Star break. Through three outings following the Midsummer Classic, the veteran lefty has posted a 1.96 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 13:5 K:BB ratio across 18.1 innings. Happ is slated to make his next start Thursday against the Orioles.(RotoWire, )

News: Happ did not factor in the decision in Sunday's start against the Yankees. He allowed three earned runs over 5.1 innings, including back-to-back home runs in the fifth. Happ did manage to strike out three, but walked two in the outing as well. Impact: Happ's ERA now sits at 4.58, but he does own an 8-5 record on the year as he has the fortune of playing on a contending team that usually provides him with plenty of run support. He generally won't light up the strikeout column with his 7.23 K/9 rate, but he does manage to keep the Blue Jays in games and could be a cheap source of wins off the waiver wire.(RotoWire, )

News: Happ threw six shutout innings in Tuesday's 7-3 win over Boston, recording his eighth victory of the season. Impact: Happ had been 3-4 with a 5.89 ERA over his last nine games, so perhaps Tuesday's outing was a step in the right direction for any owners hoping for a turnaround.(STATS, 1:26pm)

News: Happ (8-5) tossed six innings of shutout ball Tuesday, giving up seven hits and a walk while walking four in a win over the visiting Red Sox. Impact: The victory gets the southpaw back in the win column for the first time since his June 26 gem (also a shutout) against the White Sox. Happ's ERA (4.55) and WHIP (1.53) aren't exactly top-flight numbers, but he remains firmly entrenched as the Jays' No. 4 starter and should crack double-digits in wins for the third time in his eight-year career soon enough.(RotoWire, )
