News: Davis (groin) remains uncertain for the ALDS, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports. Impact: While Davis said Sunday he believed he could return for Game 1 on Thursday, manager Brad Ausmus remains non-committal in regard to the outfielder's status. Ausmus said Davis could be a full-go, he could be day-to-day, or he could be left off the roster entirely. If Davis is limited in any way, look for Ezequiel Carrera and Don Kelly to be the top options in center.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis is out of the lineup Sunday against Minnesota because of a sprain around his midsection. Impact: Davis hurt himself Saturday night against the Twins. Detroit is describing the injury as a sprain of the pubic symphysis, and trainer Kevin Rand said he was ''very encouraged'' by the fact that Davis was feeling pretty good before the game Sunday.(STATS, 1:36pm)

News: Davis believes he could return to the Tigers' lineup by Game 1 of the ALDS, the Oakland Press' Matthew Mowery reports. Impact: Davis was never going to come back in time for the last regular-season game, but he received "the best prognosis" a player in his situation can receive after he hurt himself running to first base. If he does come back, he's the Tigers starting center fielder, so he should make the playoff roster. However, an injury near the pelvis could be problematic for a player as speed-based as Davis.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins. Impact: Davis will be held out in favor of Ezequiel Carrera after exiting Saturday's game with the groin injury. The extent of his injury is uncertain, so it remains to be seen if it will cost him any postseason action.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis has left Saturday night's game against Minnesota with an apparent injury. Davis appeared to hurt himself while grounding out in the second inning, and he came out immediately after that. Detroit didn't immediately announce what the injury was. Impact: Davis signed with the Tigers in the offseason and has 36 stolen bases this year - one more than the entire Detroit team had in 2013.(STATS, 8:46pm)

News: Davis left Saturday's game with a Grade 1 pubic symphysis strain and will be evaluated prior to Sunday's regular season finale, Matthew B. Mowery of the Oakland Press reports. Impact: It's basically a groin injury, and it doesn't sound promising that Davis will be able to play again before the start of the postseason. Monitor his status prior to Sunday's game, but in leagues that allow daily moves, it would probably be best to look for an alternative for the final day of the season.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis is out of the lineup Monday against the White Sox, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports. Impact: The Tigers will give Ezequiel Carrera a spin in center field Monday, ending a run of nine straight starts for Davis. News: Davis has been added to Tuesday's lineup. Impact: With Nick Castellanos scratched due to left foot soreness, Don Kelly will move in to occupy the hot corner as Davis steps in at center. Davis is batting .297/.316/.405 but has just one steal in three attempts this month.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Twins, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports. Impact: Davis will turn center field over to Don Kelly following four straight starts, as it seems manager Brad Ausmus is intent on keeping the lefty-swinging Kelly involved with occasional starts. Kelly is just 1-for-10 so far in September but does have an OBP close to 20 points higher than Davis'.(RotoWire, )
