News: Young is likely unavailable Tuesday due to a left calf issue, ESPNNewYork.com reports. Impact: Young removed himself from Monday's game in the eighth inning due to cramping, and the training staff has recommended he not attempt to run on the calf Tuesday. With Curtis Granderson very ill and presumably unavailable as well, the Mets will be left very thin in the outfield, with Eric Campbell the only real option on the bench.(RotoWire, )

News: Young came through in the clutch Saturday, belting a two-run, game-tying pinch-hit homer in the seventh inning against the Marlins. Impact: This was just his fifth at-bat in July, but boy did he make it count. The 30-year-old outfielder now has nine bombs on the year to go with 25 RBI and a batting average just under .200 (.199) in 206 at-bats this season.(RotoWire, )
