News: Ventura (shoulder) will start Game 2 of the World Series against the Giants on Wednesday, Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star reports. Impact: A bout of shoulder tightness forced Ventura off the hill after 5.2 innings in Game 2 of the ALCS, but he threw a bullpen session earlier in the week and would have started Game 6, had the series gone that far.
