News: Dickerson is out of the lineup Monday against the Cubs. Impact: Dickerson has sat for the last two games the Rockies have faced a left-handed starter, and Monday will be no different, as manager Walt Weiss will elect to go with the right-handed bat of Brandon Barnes in left field. Dickerson owns a .325 batting average on the season, but is hitting just .250 over 48 at-bats against southpaws, so the move makes sense from a matchup standpoint. He'll likely return to action Tuesday when the Cubs send righty Edwin Jackson to the hill.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson is out of the lineup Saturday against the Pirates. Impact: Dickerson has made four straight starts for the Rockies, but will sit in favor of Brandon Barnes in left field. With lefty Jeff Locke on the mound for the opposing Pirates, manager Walt Weiss likely wants to stack his lineup with as many right-handed bats as possible.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, two runs scored and one RBI in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Nationals. Impact: Dickerson got the scoring started for Colorado, doubling off Stephen Strasburg in the first inning to bring home Josh Rutledge, and he smacked another two-bagger in the fifth. Although he will likely continue to sit against tough lefties, Dickerson is batting a robust .354/.417/.641 with 11 homers against right-handers this season, and the Rockies will lean on him as a key run producer with Troy Tulowitzki (thigh) on the DL.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson was 2-for-4 with a walk, one RBI, and two steals in a losing effort against the Pirates on Friday night. Impact: He's hitting a nice .329 but has to fight for at bats in a crowded Colorado outfield. He hit leadoff and the two steals give him eight on the year so there is some value to be had in deeper or NL-only leagues.(RotoWire, )
