News: Meyer threw six scoreless innings Wednesday for Triple-A Rochester with eight strikeouts. He has a 3.11 ERA and 115:47 K:BB in 101.1 innings. Impact: At this point, there's not much more for Meyer to prove at Triple-A, so it's a wonder why the Twins don't call him up to the majors, especially with an unsettled rotation. Odds are that Meyer will be called up soon, but he may not pitch much more this season, as the Twins may look to limit his innings -- he's already pitched 101.1 innings after 78.1 last season and will likely be limited to 150, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press estimates.(RotoWire, )

News: Meyer gave up one run on three hits and four walks with four strikeouts in six innings Friday for Triple-A Rochester. Impact: Meyer's only run came on a solo homer, but he was once again giving up too many free passes, tallying four walks for the third start in a row. He's been effectively wild, as he's only given up four runs in 18 innings over those three starts, but the Twins probably want to see him cut down on his walks before he gets a call to the big leagues. He has a 3.30 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 107:47 K:BB in 95.1 innings with Rochester this season.(RotoWire, )
