News: Updating a previous report, Parmelee is in fact in the lineup Monday, according to Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Impact: Parmelee was scheduled to receive Monday off, but shortly before game time, the Twins dealt Josh Willingham to the Royals, opening up a lineup spot. With Willingham out of the picture, Parmelee figures to see close to regular duty the rest of the way for the Twins.(RotoWire, )

News: Parmelee is out of the lineup Monday vs. the Astros, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Impact: With Joe Mauer returning from the DL on Monday, it looks like Parmelee, and not Kennys Vargas, might be the hitter that gets squeezed out of the lineup. There is still a chance, however, that right fielder Oswaldo Arcia (back) may require a stay on the DL, which would re-open the door for playing time for Parmelee if that were to occur.(RotoWire, )

News: Parmelee went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI against the Athletics on Friday night. Impact: While Parmelee's bat has been fairly inconsistent this season, the Twins will continue to play him most nights. Parmelee (.260/.316/.407) has the potential to be a solid corner option in 2015, but for the remainder of this season he only provides occasional production as a hitter.(RotoWire, )
