News: Lee struggled in his return from the disabled list, allowing six runs in 5.2 innings Monday night against the Giants. Impact: A three-run sixth inning spoiled what would have been a fine return from the DL for the veteran lefty. Lee will look to settle back in against Major League hitting when he takes the hill against the Diamondbacks this weekend.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) was activated from the 60-day DL on Monday. Impact: Lee's activation comes exactly as expected, as he's slated to square off against Ryan Vogelsong and the Giants on Monday night. The left-hander allowed 11 runs (six earned) over 10.2 innings during three rehab outings, but the Phillies have been pleased enough with his progress to warrant an activation. Koyie Hill was outrighted in a corresponding move to make room for Lee on the 40-man roster.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) is set to return to the mound Monday against the Giants, Matt Gilb of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Impact: Lee threw 76 pitches over 4.2 innings in a High-A rehab outing Monday. He appears to be ready to finally return from the disabled list and hopes to have limited restrictions. "As many as they will let me throw," Lee said, when asked about his plans. "I'm probably not going to want to come out when I come out. I don't know the exact number, but I feel strong and I feel good and I'm ready to try to help the team win." Monday's outing will be Lee's first since May 18.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) allowed eight runs, three earned, in 4.2 innings for High-A Clearwater on Monday. He struck out two, walked one and hit a batter. Impact: Not what you want to see in a final tune-up before a return to the majors. The rough outing does not change the Phillies' plans of activating Lee for Monday's game against the Giants, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) is scheduled to come off the disabled list July 21 to start for the Phillies, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Impact: The scheduled start assumes Lee makes it through his rehab appearance for High-A Clearwater this Monday. He has been sidelined since May 18 with a strained elbow.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) will be limited to 75 pitches in his rehab start Monday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Impact: Manager Ryne Sandberg said Lee will likely come off the disabled list to start for the Phillies next Saturday. Lee hasn't pitched since May 18. The Phillies will likely shop him this month, but it remains to be seen if other clubs will be willing to take a chance on a pitcher coming back from a left elbow strain.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Thursday. Impact: The move is merely a formality, as Lee's spot on the 40-man roster was needed to create room for Grady Sizemore, who was promoted to the big league club Thursday. Lee is still eligible to come off the disabled list on July 18, and is expected to pitch July 19 against the Braves, according to Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The 35-year-old lefty hasn't pitched for the Phillies since May 18 due to a strained flexor tendon in his left elbow.(RotoWire, )

News: Lee allowed three runs in four innings Wednesday in his second rehab appearance for High-A Clearwater. Impact: Lee threw 44 of his 59 pitches for strikes in the outing. He will make another rehab start Monday at Clearwater, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Lee is expected to rejoin the Phillies after the All-Star break.(RotoWire, )
Tue. July 8, 2014
News: Lee (elbow) will make his next rehab start Wednesday, the Phillies' official site reports. Impact: Lee threw just 24 pitches Sunday in a rain-shortened outing, so the Phillies will have him start Wednesday for High-A Clearwater. He will be limited to 60-65 pitches. Lee likely will make one more rehab start after Wednesday before returning to the Phillies after the All-Star break.(RotoWire, )
Mon. July 7, 2014
News: Lee (elbow) had his rehab start Sunday cut short by rain, the Phillies' official site reports. Impact: Lee threw two shutout innings for High-A Clearwater before the game was postponed in the top of the third. He threw 24 pitches, allowing one hit with two strikeouts. Given the short outing Sunday, Lee said the tentative plan is for him to pitch again Wednesday.(RotoWire, )
