News: Krauss was sent to the minors Friday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact: Krauss performed well this spring, tallying a 1.060 OPS in 28 at-bats before going 0-for-1 in the Cactus League outing against the Dodgers on Friday, but will act as depth while Efren Navarro likely stays with the Angels to take a backup role. It's worth noting that Krauss has excelled during spring training in each year of his career, but has a .200 batting average in 119 major league games.
