News: The Reds declined to tender Ondrusek a contract, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact: Cincinnati got very little out of the $1.35 million it paid Ondrusek in his first year of arbitration, as he posted a dismal 5.49 ERA and 1.61 WHIP over 40 appearances in 2014, making this a relatively easy decision. Ondrusek battled shoulder issues throughout the second half, limiting him to just 9.2 innings after the All-Star break.
