News: Reyes is having a torrid spring at the plate, hitting for a .333/.362/.600 slash line in 16 games with eight extra base hits.
Impact: Reyes has always been able to hit, having hit above .270 every season since 2005, but it's still nice to see the 31-year-old continue his impressive start. While Reyes isn't likely to steal 60 bases again like he did between 2005 and 2007, he is still a candidate to pick up 30 or more steals as long as he stays healthy. As one of the best hitting shortstops in the game today, Reyes has quite a bit of value, but needs to stay healthy to make good on his high draft slot.

News: Reyes focused on strengthening his legs this offseason to avoid the injury issues he dealt with throughout 2014, Sportsnet.ca reports.
Impact: A hamstring injury suffered late in spring training pushed Reyes to the disabled list in April, and while he returned in the middle of the month, the ailment bothered him all year. Additionally, a shoulder injury impacted Reyes defensively, and he revealed that a three-week stretch after the All-Star break following a cortisone shot was the only time last season that he felt close to healthy. Leading off for a loaded Toronto lineup again, Reyes could push his numbers back up slightly this season with improved health, but even his dinged-up performance last year (.287/.328/.398, 30-for-32 SB, nine HR, 51 RBI) carried plenty of value.
