Rotowire: Mar 11 / 8:12a ET
News: Bautista (hamstring) is in the lineup for Wednesday's Grapefruit League game, CSN Mid Atlantic's Rich Dubroff reports.
Impact: He was scratched from a spring game last week due to hamstring tightness, but it seems like he is over the ailment. This will be something to monitor with Bautista all spring, but do not be surprised if the Blue Jays give him a lot of rest days to make sure he enters the season at full strength.

News: Bautista was scratched from Friday's spring training game with right hamstring tightness, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports.
Impact: He was also not in the lineup Thursday, and this is probably the reason why. The ground there was wet and that also played a role in Bautista not playing, as the Blue Jays wanted to be extra careful. The team says the issue is not serious, but it's something worth following in the short term. Bautista missed eight games last summer with a right hamstring strain, so this is not a new ailment for him. Hamstring issues can pop back up, so do not be surprised if he miss a few games here and there this season with the same issue.

News: Bautista was a late scratch from Friday's lineup against Baltimore because of tightness in his right hamstring. The team does not expect it to be a long-term issue. Non-roster invitee Caleb Gindl took Bautista's spot in right field.
Impact: Bautista hit .286 with 35 home runs and 103 RBIs last season. Bautista was set to bat third and play right field. The five-time All-Star was kept out because of wet field conditions.
