News: Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow expressed confidence that Singleton will "do the things he needs to do to make this club," Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Impact: Singleton failed to make an impression during his rookie season with the Astros last year, hitting a mere .168/.285/.335 with 13 home runs in 95 games. While he's currently the favorite to open 2015 as the Astros' starting first baseman, don't be surprised if he ends up back in the minors if his struggles carry over from 2014.
