News: Davis (elbow) was activated from the 15-day DL and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.
Impact: Davis underwent Tommy John surgery in 2014 prior to the season, but is finally ready to pitch. As a September call-up in 2013, he was still considered part of the Nationals roster after missing the 2014 campaign. As a result, he had to be optioned to Triple-A, where he will look to pick up where he left off before his surgery.

News: Davis (elbow) was assigned to Double-A Harrisburg for a rehab assignment, Byron Kerr of MASN reports.
Impact: Davis hasn't pitched in the majors since 2013 and the Nationals don't have any relievers in immediate danger of demotion, so there's a decent chance he stays in the minors. If he does get called up, it will likely be at the expense of Matt Grace or Sammy Solis.
