News: DeJesus had his club option declined Friday.
Impact: The move doesn't come as much of a surprise, as DeJesus struggled mightily after joining the Angels in a midseason trade, slashing just .125/.183/.143 in 56 at-bats. He'll turn 36 over the offseason and has struggled to hit even .250 for the past few seasons, but he could find a spot as an extra outfielder somewhere in free agency.

News: The Los Angeles Angels decided not to make a $15.8 million qualifying offer to third baseman David Freese and declined DeJesus' $5 million contract option on Friday.
Impact: DeJesus performed poorly after the Angels acquired him near the trade deadline, eventually playing sparingly while Los Angeles missed the playoffs.
