News: Narveson has a left elbow sprain and will not throw for about a week, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
Impact: Narveson was recently reassigned to the Marlins' minor league camp, and he'll now be held out of throwing work for at least a week while the team monitors his elbow. The 30-year-old will begin the year with Triple-A New Orleans in an attempt to work his way back to the major league level.

News: Narveson was reassigned to the Marlins' minor league camp Wednesday, Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Impact: Narveson spent the past season with the Yakult Swallows of Japan, posting a 4.53 ERA over 137 innings. He's typically served as a starter during his previous time in affiliated ball with the Brewers' organization, but his easiest path back to the majors might be as a left-handed reliever. Look for the 30-year-old to see duty in that capacity at Triple-A New Orleans to begin the season.
