News: Phillips (groin) was able to return to the lineup Monday, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact: Following last year's collapse, Phillips has really dropped in ADP's so far. His current ADP in NFBC drafts is 260.99. No longer is he an automatic bet to hit 18 homers.
Rotowire: Mar 8 / 9:52p ET
News: Phillips sat out Sunday's spring training game with a groin injury.
Impact: Reds manager Bryan Price spoke more about a handful of regulars sitting out Sunday rather than Phillips' injury specifically. "It just doesn't make sense at this point in time to run them out there," Price said of the players.
Rotowire: Feb 28 / 8:39a ET
News: Phillips is 100 percent healthy, according to his manager Bryan Price, John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact: Phillips has been fairly snakebitten the last few years, and his 33 years of age and position don't alleviate that concern. It's good his manager believes in his ability to stay on the field and deliver value, but he's still a draft risk. He has hit .263/.308/.386 with 26 home runs and seven stolen bases in the last two seasons, which is still pretty decent for a second baseman but nowhere near his old peak as a 20-20 guy.
