News: Brach gave up two runs on five hits over two innings while striking out three in relief against the Jays on Friday.
Impact: He entered with the bases loaded in the top of fourth inning, and all three runners came around to score. Fortunately for those attempting to squeeze holds from Brach, those runs counted against starter Bud Norris. Still, that he was used in the fourth and fifth inning of a blowout suggests that he's currently a couple of chairs away from the closer role should anything happen to Zach Britton.

News: Brach should take on a more significant role in the bullpen in 2015, according to Britt Ghiroli of MLB.com.
Impact: Brach split his season between the Orioles and Triple-A in 2014, but he broke through with a 7-1 record, a 3.18 ERA and 1.17 WHIP while throwing his fastball over 93 mph. His numbers should translate well if he gets a full season with the big league team. Brach's role is as a crucial middle reliever who can enter tight games in the sixth or seventh inning. That role enabled him to rack up seven wins last season. However, the team likely places him as the fourth or fifth option for closing duties, and that is enough to ruin his fantasy value.
