News: Wood won't make his scheduled start Sunday due to a mild forearm strain, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Impact: Wood's injury doesn't sound serious, but the Braves won't take any chances with their talented young southpaw. He'll end the season with a 2.78 ERA in 35 games, including 24 starts with the big club. The Braves haven't announced who will make the start Sunday in his place.

News: Wood gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 6.2 innings Tuesday against the Pirates.
Impact: He was slightly out-pitched by Gerrit Cole and took his 11th loss of the season. Wood could be slightly under the radar on draft day in 2015, relative to how good he was this season. He has a 2.78 ERA (3.21 FIP) and 170 strikeouts in 171.2 innings. Wood currently has a streak of 11-straight quality starts, and over that stretch he has allowed three earned runs just once. He'll take the ball for the Braves' final game of the season Sunday in Philadelphia.
