Blues, forward Dmitrij Jaskin agree on a one-year deal

ST. LOUIS — The Blues and forward Dmitrij Jaskin have agreed to a one-year deal, the club announced Monday. 

Jaskin, 22, dressed in 54 regular season games with the Blues last season, logging 18 points (13 goals, five assists) and 16 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 198-pound forward also tallied one goal in six postseason contests. In addition, Jaskin made 18 regular season appearances with the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, Chicago Wolves, in 2014-15, tallying 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) and 31 penalty minutes.

Overall, Jaskin has recorded 20 points (14 goals, six assists) in 74 career NHL regular season games and 44 points (19 goals, 25 assists) in 60 career AHL regular season games. He  has also posted nine points (four goals, five assists) and 10 penalty minutes in nine career AHL postseason appearances.

The Omsk, Russia, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (41st overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
