ST. LOUIS - With center Paul Stastny seemingly on pace to return when the Blues host the Florida Panthers on Monday night, the team made a move late Saturday to clear roster space, sending forward Kenny Agostino back to their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

The 24-year-old Agostino leads the AHL overall with 60 points, including 42 assists, through 48 games with the Wolves this season.

The 6-foot, 205-pound forward has also made seven appearances with the Blues, posting three points (one goal, two assists) and two penalty minutes. He scored on a breakaway in his debut with the Blues on February 6, and the Blues were 6-0 with him in the lineup until their loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday afternoon.

A native of Morristown, New Jersey, Agostino was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 2, 2016.
