Blues activate Steen from IR, assign Megan to Wolves

Blues forward Alexander Steen could return to the lineup on Wednesday after the club activated him from injured reserve.

ST. LOUIS -- Blues forward Alexander Steen could return to the lineup on Wednesday after the club activated him from injured reserve.

Steen has been sidelined since the preseason after suffering a left-hand injury on Sept. 19. While the Blues have been off to a hot start at 4-2-0 on the season, they'll be sure to welcome Steen back onto the front end of the lineup.

In a corresponding move, the Blues sent forward Wade Megan down to the AHL with the Chicago Wolves.
