ST. LOUIS -- Two former members of the Saint Louis University men's soccer team are headed to the World Cup.
Midfielder Brad Davis made Jurgen Klinsmann's final USA roster while forward Vedad Ibisevic will represent Bosnia-Herzegovina in Brazil.
Ibisevic spent the 2003 season with the Billikens and was named NCAA Freshman of the Year as well as a first-team All-American. He led SLU to the third round of the NCAA Tournament in what would be his only season in St. Louis, as he opted for life in the professional ranks.
Ibisevic now lives in Stuttgart, Germany, where he plays for VfB Stuttgart in the country's Premier Soccer League.
Davis, who also attended high school at Chaminade, played at SLU for two seasons, picking up Freshman of the Year honors and second-team All-America status as a sophomore. He was drafted third overall in the 2002 MLS SuperDraft by the MetroStars and currently plays with the Houston Dynamo.
