Missouri announced Friday that sophomore
Stefan Jankovic will transfer from the program. Jankovic indicated that he wants more playing time.
"This was a tough decision for me, and Missouri will always hold a special place in my heart, but this was about having the opportunity to find a better fit where I could play a larger role on the court," Jankovic said in a news release.
Jankovic, a 6-11 forward, averaged 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 28 games at Mizzou. He averaged 3.3 points in 8.7 minutes a contest in the first three games this season.
"Stef wants a larger role in his next opportunity," coach Frank Haith said, "and I will do everything I can to help him land in a great situation."
