The Blues recalled Kenny Agostino (73) on Saturday to provide additional forward depth.

ST. LOUIS -- As the St. Louis Blues continue to deal with a string of late-season injuries, they've added another forward to the NHL roster. The club recalled Kenny Agostino from their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, on Saturday afternoon.

Blues forwards Dmitrij Jaskin, Jori Lehtera and Paul Stastny are currently dealing with injuries, and none of them played during the team's recent road trip to Arizona and Colorado. Agostino will provide additional forward depth as the Blues face the Nashville Predators on Sunday.

Agostino was the second player recalled by the Blues under emergency conditions on Saturday. Earlier in the day, they promoted defenseman Petteri Lindbohm from Chicago.

The 24-year-old Agostino leads the AHL overall with 79 points (22 goals, 57 assists) through 63 games with the Wolves this season.  The 6-foot, 205-pound forward also made seven appearances with the Blues earlier this season, posting three points (one goal, two assists) and two penalty minutes.

Overall, the Morristown, New Jersey, native has recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in 17 career NHL regular season games.
