STRONG HOMESTAND CONTINUES

After a Vladimir Tarasenko hat trick lifted St. Louis over the Lightning on Thursday night, the Blues have won six in a row at home. They host the Jets at 6 p.m. Saturday on FOX Sports Midwest, their fourth in a five-game homestand.

MIZZOU LOOKS TO BOUNCE BACK

The Tigers are 3-3, but their last game was a dud – a 62-52 home loss to North Carolina Central. They’ll try to get back on track against Western Kentucky at Mizzou Arena on Saturday afternoon.

SLU HOSTS WILDCATS

First-year coach Travis Ford was not a happy camper after his Billikens fell to 2-4 with a 68-64 home loss to Samford. Kansas State offers a chance at redemption at 7 p.m. Saturday at Chaifetz Arena and on FOX Sports Midwest Plus.

MURKY COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF PICTURE TO COME INTO FOCUS

It’s conference championship weekend, which means that for better or worse, four teams will be tapped for the College Football Playoff on Sunday.
