ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues will open their 2014-15 regular season against the best team in the Eastern Conference last season, the New York Rangers.
The Blues will host the Rangers in their regular-season opener on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Scottrade Center. It will be just the second time in club history, and the first since 1970, that the Blues have hosted the Rangers to open a season.
Overall, the Blues’ fan-friendly schedule features a total of 15 home games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Season tickets are on sale now at stlouisblues.com. The on-sale date for single-game tickets and partial plans will be announced at a later date.
Overall, the Blues will play 29 games within the division, including five with Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Nashville and Winnipeg, as well as four with Minnesota. They will face each of the remaining Western Conference teams three times and will participate in a home-and-home series with each Eastern Conference team.
