Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is reportedly leaving Philadelphia to join former coach Andy Reid in Kansas City once free agency officially begins Tuesday, according to league sources.

Maclin, 26, played four seasons under Reid in Philadelphia, before the coach left for the Chiefs’ helm in 2013.

The 6-foot, 198-lb Missouri native carried a career-high 85 passes for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Eagles in 2014. He missed the 2013 season due to an ACL injury.

Maclin would come home to a ready-made fanbase among area Mizzou fans. He played alongside fellow former Tiger (and current Chiefs quarterback) Chase Daniel, helping to lead the 2008 Tigers to victory in the Cotton Bowl. Maclin was a two-time consensus All-American during his time at Mizzou.
