Time after time, Hollywood has shown a racetrack is a great place to tell a compelling story. We look at 10 must-see horse racing movies.

It was the closest finish in the Grade 1 race's 32-year history. Hollywood Park will close for good at the conclusion of the current meet.

In the $251,000 Hollywood Derby for 3-year-olds, Seek Again won by 1-1/2 lengths in his U.S. debut.

In the Matriarch, Egg Drop ran one mile on the turf in 1:34.03 and paid $23.20 for a $2 win bet.

Defending champion Better Lucky was another half-length back of runer-up Discreet Marq in third.

After making seven starts on either dirt or synthetic surfaces, Egg Drop has won four of five on the turf. She has six wins in 12 career starts and earnings of $494,020.

Tiz Flirtatious, the 19-10 favorite, was fifth.

In the Hollywood Derby, Seek Again ran 1-1/4 miles in 2:00.60 under Corey Nakatani and paid $12.40. Seek Again arrived from Britain and didn't clear quarantine until Saturday.

Seek Again will stay in the United States for his 4-year-old season and switch barns from John Gosden to Hall of Famer Bill Mott.

The victory, worth $150,000, increased Seek Again's career earnings to $219,030, with four wins in eight starts.

''I was extremely confident,'' Nakatani said. ''Any time you see the Juddmonte colors and a horse shipping from England, you know they're going to have a big turn of foot and it's just a matter if they can handle the tighter turns. He seemed to handle it.''

Admiral Kitten was second, and Amen Kitten was another three-quarters of a length back in third. Both horses are owned by Kentucky-based Ken and Sarah Ramsey.
