SADDLE UP

Time after time, Hollywood has shown a racetrack is a great place to tell a compelling story. We look at 10 must-see horse racing movies.

Ridden by Gary Stevens, Pontchatrain ran 6-1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course in 1:11.14 and paid $4.20 as the even-money favorite. It was the 4-year-old filly's third straight stakes win on the turf under Stevens.

Kindle was second, and Purim's Dancer was another 1-1/4 lengths back in third. Tom Proctor trains both Pontchatrain and Purim's Dancer.

The victory, worth $120,000, increased Ponchatrain's career earnings to $324,882, with five wins in seven starts.
