The 4-year-old half-brother to Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner is scheduled to test his talent under the famed Twin Spires of Churchill Downs in an allowance race on Sunday's Mother's Day racing card.

WinStar Farm's Coincide, a lightly raced gray son of Cozzene, has drawn the rail post in Sunday's seventh race, a $43,500 allowance race at a mile on turf. Churchill Downs handicapper Mike Battaglia has installed the Elliott Walden-trained colt as the 7-2 morning line favorite in the oversubscribed field of 13 (12 horses will be allowed to run). He will be ridden by Pat Day, who has been aboard the colt in three of his four lifetime starts.

Coincide is a son of the late Belle's Good Cide, the Slewacide mare who produced , the New York-bred gelding who won the "Run for the Roses" on May 3. Belle's Good Cide died on March 8, shortly after she had given birth to her final foal, a colt by Mojave Moon.

Bred in Kentucky by Prestonwood Farm, Coincide finished tenth as the favorite in his most recent start in a 1 3/16-mile turf allowance at Keeneland. He has a career record of 1-1-1 in four races and has earned $25,695.

Coincide is not the only horse in the seventh race with an interesting pedigree. Also in the race is William and Suzanne Warren's Irish Legacy, a 4-year-old gelded son of Storm Cat who has one win in eight races for trainer Tony Reinstedler. Irish Legacy's dam is the Diplomat Way mare Ingot Way, the dam of 1998 "Horse of the Year" Skip Away.
