Dr. Butch won the $355,000 Art Rooney Pace on Saturday night at Yonkers Raceway.

Driven by George Brennan, the 3-year-old son of Art Major paced the mile in 1:51:2 and paid $6.90 to win the race honoring the late owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rooney family has owned Yonkers Raceway since 1972.

Lonewolf Currier was second, and Sir Cary's Z Tam finished third.

Dr. Butch, owned by Ken Jacobs and trained by Linda Toscano, finished third last week in the Rooney elimination in his only other start of the year.
