Dewycolorintheline wins Yonkers Trot

YONKERS, N.Y. (AP)

Dewycolorintheline won the $450,000 Yonkers Trot on Saturday night, beating Fico by two lengths in the race for 3-year-old at Yonkers Raceway.

Driven by co-owner/trainer Ray Schnittker, Dewycolorintheline trotted the mile in 1:57:3 in his wire-to-wire victory. Fico was driven by George Brennan.

Don'tyouforgetit, the 3-5 favotite with Brian Sears in the bike, and Creampuff MacDaddy, the 2-1 second choice handled by Jason Bartlett, went offstride early. Dontyouforgetit recovered to finish fourth, and Creampuff Macdaddy was sixth in the seven-horse field.
