Chriselliam wins Juvenile Fillies Turf

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP)

Chriselliam won the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf by three lengths.

Ridden by Richard Hughes, the Ireland-bred filly ran a mile in a record 1:33.72 for the event and paid $15.80, $7.80 and $6.20 on Friday at Santa Anita.

France-bred Testa Rossi returned $11.20 and $9.

Colonel Joan was another half-length back in third and paid $16.60 to show.

It was the first Breeders' Cup victory for both Hughes and trainer Charles Hills.
