Better Lucky won by a length and Unbridled Command won by 1-1/2 lengths in a pair of $250,000 races at Betfair Hollywood Park on Sunday.

Ridden by Eddie Castro, Better Lucky completed a mile in 1 minute, 34.18 seconds to win the Matriarch. A $2 win bet returned $72.20.

"My filly gave me a real nice kick, and that was good enough to win today," Castro said.

Tiz Flirtatious was second, 2-1/4 lengths ahead of third-place Summer Soiree.

Meanwhile, Unbridled Command completed 1-1/4 miles in 2:01.07 to take the Hollywood Derby. The $150,000 payday increased his bankroll to $469,040.

Ridden by Javier Castellano, Unbridled Command paid $16 to win.

"He just matures from race to race to race," trainer Tom Bush said. "I couldn't dream of a horse developing any nicer than this horse. He's really gotten special."

Grandeur, the 7-2 favorite, rallied for second place. Lucky Chappy was a head back in third.
