Chester, CT (Sports Network) - Veteran Todd Bodine will replace Dave Blaney in the No.31 Whelen Engineering Ford beginning in this Saturday's MBNA America 200 Busch event at the Dover International Speedway. "Todd has been a Busch series stalwart for many years," said Phil Kurze, director of motorsports for Whelen Engineering. "We are thrilled that he will be bringing his talents to our team. And what adds to the enthusiasm is that he and (team crew chief) Ted Marsh go back a long way with a high-level of respect and understanding for each other."

Blaney started three races in the No.31 Ford, with a best finish of 21st on May 14th in the Funai 250 at Richmond.

Bodine is particularly expert at driving at Dover, having earned three of his 15 Busch Series wins at the one-mile oval.

"Dover is one of those tracks where you have to be aggressive and be on top of the wheel every lap. It kind of suits my style," said Bodine.
