October 20, 2003 MEMPHIS, TN - Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 38 Great Clips Ford, started 18th for the running of the Sam's Town 250 NASCAR Busch Series race at Memphis Motorsports Park. After struggling with the handling of his No. 38 for most of the 250-lap event, Kahne finished 15th.

"This was a pretty bad day for us," said Kahne.  "I had problems turning the car all day and seemed to be tight through the whole race.  We just never could fix it.  Hopefully we'll be able to get things turned around for
Phoenix
next weekend."

Kahne is currently eighth in the NASCAR Busch Series overall driver point standings.

Bobby Hamilton, Jr., took the checkered flag, followed by Jason Keller, Johnny Sauter, Ron Hornaday, Jr., and Brian Vickers to complete the top five.
