Mike Tyson rules: I LOVE Mike Tyson!! He is the most hated professional athlete of our time. Yet, we will pay a record $54.95 to watch the upcoming heavyweight championship between Tyson and Lennox Lewis. We are a sick society today. We love the fact Tyson is a walking freak show. Here's my prediction on Tyson ... if he loses the Lewis fight, his time here on earth will have been a VERY short one. Here's a beat for all you Vegas folks. What are the odds Tyson makes it to his 40th birthday? Former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes made a statement about Tyson that rang so true. He said, "Tyson will be in prison or dead." He's already been to prison, guess what's next! 2. 76ers' act is tired: Will the Philadelphia 76ers' Allen Iverson and Larry Brown please shut up?! I am so tired of both these guys using the media to talk to each other. Maybe I'm seeing what really separates guys like Lakers head coach Phil Jackson and Detroit Red Wings coach Scotty Bowman. They don't use the media to fix their problems. Brown is saying that Iverson needs to straighten up or move on. No, that's Larry Brown's MO. How many more years does Brown have as Sixers head coach? One! To trade Iverson would be ridiculous. He's brought life back to NBA hoops in Philly. Phil, maybe your ZEN dust does work? 3. A-Rod worth the money: The best player in MLB is hands down Texas shortstop Alex Rodriguez, even in an era that has some of baseball's greatest players ... guys such as Boston's Nomar Garciaparra and the Yankees' Derek Jeter!! Those two are really great players, but A-Rod is the best. Just recently he became the second-fastest player in baseball history to hit 250 home runs. He hit 50 home runs last year ... and he's a shortstop!! Come on! We give this guy heat for the $250 million. Guess what folks, he's worth EVERY penny.
