Position: College: Texas Height: 5-11 Weight: 197 40-yard dash: 4.49 Bench press: 345 pounds (bench presses 225 pounds 18 times) Fun fact: Cousin of former Texas Longhorns defensive lineman and current Seattle Seahawk Cedric Woodard One of the best cornerbacks available in the draft, Quentin Jammer's athletic ability and natural skills at corner make him a very attractive pro prospect. Registering 55 stops last year with a pair of interceptions, Jammer was a consistent tackler in the Longhorn defensive secondary. Most impressive, though, was his closing speed and ability to disrupt the opposition's passing game, as he set a school record with 24 passes defensed. In short, Jammer has all of the essentials required of a corner: size, strength, and quickness toward the ball. However he does not have burner-type speed, and he can be beaten when facing sprinting wide receivers. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for with great awareness and physicality, and he should be a definite impact player at the next level.
