Bridgend, Wales (Sports Network) - European Solheim Cup captain Catrin Nilsmark rounded out her squad on Monday after the completion of The Wales WPGA Championship. Nilsmark named Nabisco Championship winner Patricia Meunier-Lebouc of France (second appearance), Norway's Suzann Pettersen (second), Sweden's Carin Koch (third) as well as Catriona Matthew (second) and Janice Moodie (second), both from Scotland.

The top-seven on the European points table automatically made the team and they were Sweden's and Sophie Gustafson, Germany's Elisabeth Esterl, Iben Tinning of Denmark, Ana B. Sanchez of Spain, Scotland's Mhairi McKay and England's Laura Davies, who will have played in all eight Solheim Cups after this year's.

Helen Alfredsson played in the first seven, but did not get added to the squad in 2003.

The American team was finalized Sunday after the Wachovia LPGA Classic. , Rosie Jones, Beth Daniel, Laura Diaz, Michele Redman, Cristie Kerr, Meg Mallon, Angela Stanford, Wendy Ward and Kelly Robbins won the 10 automatic spots while captain Patty Sheehan named Kelli Kuehne and Heather Bowie.

Meunier-Lebouc broke into golf's elite this season when she triumphed at the season's first major, the Nabisco Championship. In 2000, she went 0-1-1, including a 1-up loss to Mallon.

Pettersen amassed a 1-1-1 record last year at Interlachen and the highlight was a halve in her singles match with Redman. Pettersen was 5-down with five to play and came back to earn the half point.

Koch, who has missed significant time this season after giving birth to her second child, is a staggering 7-0-1 and was undefeated in 2002 until halving the final match on the course on Sunday against Daniel.

Matthew went 1-2 in her only appearance in 1998 but plays the LPGA Tour exclusively, where she is 22nd on the money list. Moodie went 3-1 in 2000 and formed a successful partnership with Sorenstam. Many were shocked when Dale Reid, then captain of the European side, left her off the team in 2002.

The Solheim Cup will take place at Barseback Golf & Country Club in Malmo, Sweden from September 12-14. The U.S. won last year and owns a 5-2 mark in the Ryder Cup style event.
