CENTER LINE, Mich.

When the stars and cars of the NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream event take to the track at Eldora Speedway on June 7, Mopar will be front and center in the lineup. The No. 15 Steve Francis owned machine that will be piloted by NASCAR's Ryan Newman will sport a version of the "midnight camo" paint scheme, carried by the brand's USAC and NHRA teams.

Designed by Competition Graphics of Farmington Hills, Mich., the "midnight camo" is carried by the Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team in the three USAC Racing Series divisions. The Don Schumacher Racing NHRA Pro Stock teams also feature the unique paint scheme, as does the J&J Racing team. Competition Graphics is one of America's premier motorsports graphic suppliers.

In addition to Newman, the NEXTEL Prelude to The Dream will feature NASCAR's Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Bobby Labonte, Kevin Harvick, Dave Blaney, Kenny Schrader, Kyle Petty, Kenny Wallace, Robby Gordon, Elliott Sadler, Kevin Harvick, Jamie McMurray, Mark Martin, Dave Blaney, J.J. Yeley and Denny Hamlin, as well as the NHRA's Ron Capps and the legendary Red Farmer. The star-studded field will get a brief practice session prior to a single-lap qualification session. Starting positions for the feature event will be determined by two preliminary heat races.

Team Mopar's Francis, who competes in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the brand, is also slated to drive the "midnight camo" car in the 12th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream event at the facility on June 9¿10. "The Kentucky Colonel," as Francis is known, has won six late model events thus far in 2006. He also leads the World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship and will look to capture the $10,000 purse at Eldora Speedway this weekend.

The gates will open to the public at 3:30 p.m. EST for Wednesday's NEXTEL Prelude to The Dream event at Eldora Speedway. Racing is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. EST.
